SQLove
My career began with SQL, from when I first dabbled in it in college, to when I started teaching it to professionals on weekends for quick money after I graduated, and all through my working years. It's become part of my analytical toolkit and one of the few ways I enter my "flow state" (the other is being massively OCD with dashboard design).
When I joined Google in 2017, within a few months I was continuing to spread the gospel of SQL and holding business analysis bootcamps for Strategy/Account Managers and Analysts. Here is the public version of my General Assembly (yes that was my hair back then..) bootcamp slides and exercises:
My listed work history is now incomplete, and the design of the slides may be a little outdated (do people still use memes in their decks?). But the core technical concepts and examples, like the timeless language of relational databases, remain valid.
Keep Calm and Query On.
